• YES!!!! Works great too! You can buy either a single male to male RCA cable or a RCA Y cable for subwoofers.

• Yes, I have my TX8020 connected to a Sony powered subwoofer at 100 watts. It sounds great.

• There are designated output jacks for a subwoofer. Yamaha has built this device to handle it.

• The TX8020 has the subwoofer output, actually an unfiltered L+R line level controlled on/off by speaker A switch, available on the back panel. I wire my main speakers to speaker B output, which permits their use with or without the subwoofer by turning speaker A on or off at the receiver's front panel (Sadly it's not a remote control function!).
