No. The receiver can not be connected to an external equalizer.

If they are RCA style you may be able to use the auxiliary input/output options on the Onkyo receiver. Look at the view of the back of the Onkyo receiver. You may also find a manual and quick set-up guide on the internet.You may also have to purchase adapters &/or an A/V routing box..I believe where there's a will there's a way. The Onkyo receiver has built in "EQ" with plus and minus bass and treble settings that are quite adequate in my opinion. I hope this helps.
