Yes it does. I own one and it's a decent receiver. You'll have to download the new firmware through the USB port on the back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly I do not know. The Dolby Atmos sound feature that is advertised with this Receiver is suppose to be a superior sound quality and format. For Dolby Atmos to be properly utilized. It would need a more advanced speaker setup or configuration. In some BLOGs i have read that Dolby Digital plus can be achieved through the Optical Cable then coded out to give you the Dolby Digital plus like sound. Just on a side note...i had a much older setup and upgraded my Receiver with this Onkyo TX SR393. Be sure that the HDMI cable is ARC compatible. This is important when trying to get your smart TV to broadcast through your Receiver.
