“I have the Onkyo TX-NR636 and the HDMI inputs went out and I can not get a replacement board. Does this model have the same issues with the HDMI ports overheating and going out? I don't want to have the same problems. Thank you!”

I’ve had 2 Onkyo receiver’s that the board burn out ! One it was the video, sound still worked, One was the audio, video works!! Had both about 11 years.. still use the audio only one !! Bought a Sony sounds muddy to me, will be getting this model today( 8/12/22) the birds a can be had, but cost almost the same as buying a new receiver when you add shipping and handling charges!! I was quated about $85 for s/h plus the price of a new board!!!!!!!
