Can I hook a turntable to this reciever null

If your turntable has either an HDMI out or toslink out connection then yes you can. Look at the picture of the rear of the receiver and you can see the possible inputs. As long as you have a corresponding output on your turntable, then you should be fine.

This depends on the turn table if the turn table if the turn table is a phono style turn table then yes you will need a phono preamp. If the turn table can can be set to Line out then you will not need a preamp.
