I can not tell you exactly why it is and also happened to me What I can do is tell you that I did to improve the problem and believe me it turned out. Look in Settings where it says IntelliVolume and change it from 0 dB to 6+ dB. and that's it I hope it helps you.

You can also download a free db app and sit at your listening location and measure each channel and set them to about 75db - 77db and listen if that is similat to what you had before.
