Does it control individual speakers/channels? null

On the remote, there's a button called Quick Menu. Under that you'll find a menu item called Level. Per the user guide, this is what you can do with Level: Level Front: Adjust the speaker level of the front speaker while listening to the sound. Center: Adjust the speaker level of the center speaker while listening to the sound. Subwoofer: Adjust the speaker level of the subwoofer while listening to the sound. • If you set the unit to the standby mode, the adjustments you made will be restored to the previous statuses.

Yes it controls individual speaker loudness levels. Either by the included surround sound mic or by you manually
