• According to Crutchfield the SR-393 will work with speakers from 4 to 16 ohms impedance.

• This would depend on the power specs of the speakers. While the receiver does support 6 ohm speakers the receiver has a power output of 135 W at 6 ohms. As long as your speakers meet that spec they should work.
