To clarify, it's a Zone A/B and not a Speaker A/B option. There's no built-in amp for the second zone. Zone B is an RCA out that you can hook up to an amp. Once you set the amp level, you control the volume via the remote. You can choose to do this with Zone A and B selected at the same time (The remote controls the volume level on both at the same time) or you can have just Zone A or B by itself.
