“I have been using an Onkyo HT-S5300 7.1 Home Theater system. The receiver (HT-R580) stopped sending audio and video. Will the TX-NT686 be a good replacement using the speakers and subwoofer that came with the HT-S5300?”

• Your old Amp probably has a failed HDMI board (that happened to me as well) . I don't know about your speakers, but my new TX NR 686 has outstanding audio... much better than my old Okyo
