“Will this receiver accept banana plugs for speaker wires?”

• I don't know why this person said it doesnt accept banana plugs...it definitely does. I just set mine up with banana plugs with no issue. The only exception is for the subwoofer...I don't believe there's a banana plug for that one.

• I don’t know what a banana plug is, but it doesn’t have a place for the old RCA plugs. It does have the clips in the back that accept the bare speaker wires. All 7 speakers clipped there. Sorry I don’t know technical terms but I had no problem setting up my home theatre system with remote speakers. I have an old Bose speaker system with subwoofer.
