“Can you turn on the center channel in stereo mode? I just have two floor speakers and a center at the moment and want to make sure it will sound ok until I get the surround setup.”

Yes.....connect your 3 speakers......then go into the on screen set up menu......there you will tell the receiver what speaker set up you are using( 2.0 , 2.1 , 3.0 , 3 1 , 5.1 etc.)...... the reciever will recognize this and give you the processing options available by the simple press of a button.

Please try again later.no center channel is for diaolage /voice or talking the two floor speakers are stereo left and right all work together to be stereo the center channel is basicly one speaker doing all sounds mainly diaolag / voicals but you can go through sound feild settings and go to 6 speaker stereo setting and play all even though dont have rear speakers some times called mulii speakers
