I believe it has to do with the initial setup when you calibrate the sound on the assign space using the mic, but is also possible that 50 is a default setting for the sound. In order to give you a accurate info I have to do more research myself but so far for my space I feel a balance of the sound in a 360, sometimes ill go a little loud & of course ill go more than 50, I also suggest to check the different mode sounds for example: stereo, surround, thx, dts, etc. I know is not much but is a point to start, I hope my answer help you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, Yes, factory default isn't very loud i agree. You have to go into the menu settings and adjust the .db for each speaker in your setup. You can also tweak the trebble and bass of each speaker. I had a model older than this that rocked my living room ;) This model is an awesome mid to high range receiver and would do the bose speakers well. Make sure u look at the model of speakers u are using and their wattage handling power so u know where about you want to crank em individually. Ps. The mic doesn't always give u the best sound in setup that is why u can manually set up your sound. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. All “volume settings” will be different from machine to machine, dont get hung up on numbers. Set the volume where you like the sound, this product can drive your speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also set mine to 50 for normal listening. I also turn the center channel volume all the way up which helps. I have the NR757 as well as the NR777 in the main theater. I think they both do a great job
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have found that about 50% is about normal for any speakers 85 is super loud. so between 55 to 70 is about where you want to be.
