“I am trying to connect the Onkyo AV Receiver TX-NR676 to a Samsung 65" LED MU8000 series TV with the oneconnect. I have a Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar already connected to the TV oneconnect. The TX-NR676 under initial setup will not detect the speakers.”

Im not familiar with oneconnect but your sound bar needs to be connected to the receiver along with the tv being connected to the hdmi port on the receiver. If you trying to get it to notice the sound bar thru another means of connection, i dont thing it will work correctly.
