A:AnswerIt is difficult to answer the question as sony's website doesn't give information on those speakers.
Here is what I would look for: on the speakers themselves do they list how many ohms they are. if they are 4-16 they should work. (if they are 4 ohm speakers make sure to set the setting correctly on the onkyo nr-575 to 4 ohm speakers)
2nd consideration. from the setup picture from the manual for your sony speaker system. It shows the wires have a plug at the end. this will not plug in anywhere on the onkyo. To use these speakers you may need buy new speaker wire or on the current wire cut the end off and strip enough of the wire end that it can be connected to the onkyo.
Lastly, The sub-woofer would not work with the subwoofer pre-out... so I would recommend your get a powered sub-woofer instead of using the passive one you have. There may be ways of getting the passive one to work... but not sure it would be worth it.
A:Answerthe onkyo nr-575 is only rated for 4 ohm and up speakers. So technically no and may void your warranty.
This doesn't mean that those speakers won't technically work well... It just means you risk ruining your 300+ dollar reciever or speakers if you do use them.
The louder you run the speakers the more the risk.
I know someone who is using 3-4 ohm speakers on a different onkyo reciever rated for 6 ohm speakers. He has ran them for over a year and hasn't had issues doing so; but just cause he is lucky doesn't mean you will be.
A:AnswerI believe your are asking if the receiver can power 5.2.4 speakers in atmos mode. The answer to this is no.
If you turn on zone 2 speakers. It actually takes power from the 2 atmos speakers.
meaning the main zone would only running in 5.1.0 and zone 2 would be in 2.1.0
it truly can only power 7 speakers at a time.
