• Hello Luislast, The TXSR494 does not have a phono pre amp input for a turntable. However, if you get a separate pre amp you can connect a turntable to that and then use the RCA inputs on the TXSR 494 receiver. But if you are wanting a receiver that supports a phono input built-in you would have to go with TXNR696 or higher in the Onkyo Receiver line. Thank you Onkyo

• You can try any of the RCA in puts with your turntable. I've done it and it works fine.
