Q: QuestionQ1. Is there a SIM card in this device that can be replaced by another carrier SIM card if the Sprint reception is not strong enough to support the phone service ? Q2. Since Sprint has merged with T-Mobile -can this device use the T-Mobile network ?
Asked by mi48686.
- A:Answer No, there is no SIM card for this device. This device works over your home wifi & whatever mobile wifi service is available. The Ooma worked but I gave mine up. It is not as good as a landline. Sound quality was good but I connected mine with my cell phone in order to get calls when away from home. When @ home, this became inconvenient because both phones rang. When I answered on cell phone, it required more actions to get to answer the call.
