• No. It requires an Ethernet connection

• The Ooma Telo requires a wired network connection. You won't be able to connect it uwing wi-fi to your iPhone's hotspot. There's a version of Ooma called Telo Air that connects using wifi. I've not tried it but that should work with your hotspot.
