You can link the Ooma Telo to your cell phone service and receive calls from the Ooma system on your cell phone, but this will not improve the signal on the cell service your provider has in your area.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ooma is not a cell phone system. It uses your internet system and makes calls through the internet. It basically works like a standard land line, except it's connected via the internet instead of via your phone company's landline.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not think so. This is basically just a land line phone that uses your internet. It plugs into your internet router with an ethernet cable. If your cell phone has call forwarding I would think that you could forward your cell phone calls to the Ooma number before you lose your signal for when you are home so you do not miss cell calls. A wireless home phone can be connected to the Ooma telo for your home. Ooma sells a base with wireless phones to simplfy things. Most have very decent range. When you are not home the Ooma number can be forwarded to your cell phone. This may require the premier plan which has more features. The capabilities are listed on Oomas website. Their customer service was helpful for me. Once again, I think the answer is no to your question, but if you have internet the Ooma should allow you to get calls. Best Buy has a great return policy. If you carefully unpack the Ooma and repack it if it does not work out.
