• This model requires an Ethernet wired connection to the router. The Telo Air version allows for either a wired or wireless connection. If your intention is to enroll in the Premier Plan for its Second Number feature, consider a Telo or Telo Air packaged with 1-3 HD3 handsets.

• The Ooma box connects to the Ethernet port on your router. Most wi-fi routers do have several Ethernet ports or you can connect it between a cable modem and a router, still using Ethernet.

• The OOMA Telo uses a wired Ethernet connection between the device and your router. If you want a wireless connection, you need an OOMA Telo AIR or AIR2 device. They can use a wired or wireless connection to your router/gateway.
