• Yes, but the bell is weak. A pushbutton phone is required to make outgoing calls, like an AT&T posh button desk phone or the Western Electric or Bell Telephone System equivalent. Your welcome, happy to help.

• Yes, Ooma works with regular landline phones. I disconnected my phone wiring from where it enters the house and plugged Ooma into my wall jack. Both of my existing phones work just as they always have. My girlfriend has a cordless phone so she just plugged that into the Ooma and her cordless phone works as it always as.
