Sorry I'm really bad at this stuff. I have wifi internet from Verizon. My wife has to get an analog line to hook up a fax machine for her new job. I have no phone in the house (other than cell phones) . Do I just hook this up to fax machine and modem? T null

Don't bother, this product is awful and very rarely works at all

You can connect the FAX machine directly to the Ooma Telo box but you may want one of these, too: https://my.ooma.com/products/linx
This will allow you to have a second number for faxes only and the FAX machine does not have to be in the same room as the Telo box.
