• Hello, and thank you for your question. The Ooni Karu 12 and Ooni Karu 16 are ready, right out of the box, to cook with charcoal and/or wood. Both of these ovens also have an option to cook with propane with an attachable gas burner, available for purchase separately. Happy cooking!
