• Hello, and thank you for your question. You can place your Ooni on any solid, sturdy surface. Keep in mind that we sell Ooni modular tables that are perfect to use for your ovens! You can use charcoal briquettes in the Karu 12, yes. You can also use wood or propane (with an attachable gas burner, sold separately).
