I got a Onkyo - 925W Home Theater System Model Number: HT-S5800 (SKU: 4350926) and it works great. The wires that came with it are configured for the AV receiver to be by the screen so you will need either long HDMI or extra speaker wire. My AV and BR player are in the back of the room and 40 foot speaker wires are no problem. I leave the speakers in the Optoma at a low setting for the center of the room from above; but it is not necessary. A non-AV point: If you are doing 3-D, don't forget a RF emitter for the Optoma to sync the glasses.
