Q: QuestionI was told by an owner of the HD27e that it had gray translucent bars that borders the top and bottom of the projected screen. Is this true? or could his 27e have some sort of issue?
Asked by Jaaronmcd.
- A:Answer Hello. The shadow border around the projected image from the Optoma HD143X and HD27e is inherent to the architecture of the new DMD chip used. It is not noticeable when used with a projection screen with black borders and does not affect picture quality. These projectors display high-quality 1080p images and will perform as expected. Q: QuestionHow well does this projector work outside during the day?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Using a projector outdoors is not recommended. 1. Image will be washed out. 2. Excessive heat will cause a thermal event - unit will shut down. Not recommended for outdoor use in the daytime - nighttime is doable and acceptable (no moisture). Thanks.
