I bought this projector specifically for outside purposes. We put on a drive-in at the library for the community. We have played in rain and shine (dusk around 8:30ish) and you can still see the picture perfectly. It doesn’t lose its clarity. Of course, at sunset or even after the sun goes down, the picture is awesome. I love the zoom and focus feature it has. I’m very satisfied and more than glad I went with this projector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own one. In a pinch sure I bet you could get away with it for like a backyard movie night. for any prolonged use certainly not the fan is in the front next to the lens if you got much dirt dust or debris in there I would say functioning could be decreased and lifetime decreased as well, I would not try getting this thing wet its a nice projector but like any projector by nature fragile
