Ours has been projected on a semi gloss pale gray wall. Absolutely crystal clear. We’ve toyed with the idea of silver, as I’ve heard the same thing, and are thinking about just painting something with a metallic silver and putting it in view to see of it helps before painting the entire surface of my wall. I feel that black does not help the image at all.
