What do you need extra if you live 15 miles from town? null

Nothing. It is a satellite system. They put up an antenna for local stations and the satellite dish. You should be fine once they get it installed.

All you need is an antenna for local programs. This comes with one but if you are a good ways out say 45 miles you’ll need something stronger. Overall your set when you buy the receiver or the dvr. I got the dvr.
