“This is a two-part question: 1) can you play a recorded episode/movie on another Orby receiver and 2) if so, does it also have to be a DVR? In other words, does Orby offer whole home dvr service?”

As it was explained to me, there is no whole house DVR. Every program needs it's own receiver/DVR and there is an additional install charge. Just think long and hard as I dumped it after 3 months. It would have been 2 months but for the fact that I forgot to call for cancellation on time.
