A:AnswerYou can only record 2 shows at a time per DVR. If you have a second DVR you cannot watch the shows recorded on First DVD. You will need a regular receiver or a DVR for each TV.
A:AnswerIf renting a house, you can take it with you when you go. If renting an apartment, they just have to be able to aim the dish the right direction, at the satellite. There is no other way with Orby, you have to have the dish so it aims at the satellite. Having said that, we love our Orby.
A:Answerthe Orby system doesn't connect to the internet so you do not need an internet connection to use Orby TV. It's all about cutting the cord and downsizing your monthly bills.
A:AnswerYes, you either pay $165 for installation of a dish (and off-air antenna) or buy the do-it-yourself kit (which is only recommended for experienced installers.)
A:AnswerIt is low cost satellite TV. They save money by not having higher cost channels, like the sports ones, and by installing an antenna on the dish pole, to get the free local network channels. They all show up in the same channel guide. You do need a receiver for each TV. (unless you don't mind seeing the same channel in the other room, without ability to change channels)
A:AnswerYou buy the box from Best Buy and when you order installation they will charge you for the installation which includes the satellite dish they currently have a deal they’re running or if you pay $125 that will give you one box for one TV and insulation for the one TV
A:AnswerNo. And, they don't carry Univision or Telemundo. My local channels carry Telemundo. If you are in a metro area, your local channels probably carry both. To find which channels on OrbyTV are in HD look here: https://orbytv.com/channel-lineup/
A:AnswerI do not think so. Is your dish a remote, does it turn and set with a remote, if it does then set the concordance and check if not then replace it with the INT of the Orby dish.
A:AnswerOrby Tv does not use WiFi . If you really truly need WiFi your wireless carrier , cable , telephone/dsl, , fixes wireless providers may have a solution that fits your needs. When we cut the cord on our tv / internet / phone we opted for unlimited data plan and Orby Tv..
