QuestionThe waffle iron tilts...Hi All, I used the waffle iron for the first time yesterday and when I rotate it it actually on its own tilts at a pretty obvious angle. I wasn't sure if this was supposed to do this or if it was a problem with my waffle maker or if it was a design flaw. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

- Answer Yes it is normal, probbably a slight design flaw, but it is easy to level. I think it helps to spread the batter.

QuestionHaving difficulty getting waffle out in one piece. Kept lengthening the cooking time but still can't get the waffle out. One waffle did release from the top but then I couldn't get it off the bottom. I have used them in hotels with no problem.

- Answer Not hot enough and it's not getting done. Try setting it higher and WAIT FOR THE LIGHT TO SAY IT'S HOT ENOUGH. I have mine turned up quite far. Just lift a corner and it's out in one beautiful waffle.

QuestionRemovable Plates?I'm looking for a waffle iron with removable plates for easy clean up. The idea of just wiping down the surface doesn't do it for me. It is tough to make sure everything is really wiped out. Thanks for your help.

- Answer Honestly, I thought it was a pain at first as well. But the pleasure of eating waffles i made at home far out weighed that. If you follow measuring instructions pretty well and get to know your machine you won't have excess spillage or clean up. I have excluded a pic of where the food or batter was an issue for me. But this is also my Oster after normal cooking experience. Just clean it. Somethings come with built in joy.

QuestionIs this model the grey color or is it the all black color?I bought one as a gift and the product details says it's Charcoal color but the picture shows it's all black, I was just wondering if maybe the picture on the box is different than the actual color of the product.
