• Mainly, the thickness of the cases and the protection this additional thickness offers. They start with very slim cases, that can only protect from scratches and small falls, to very rugged cases for serious drops.

• the commuter series slips on and is a one piece case pretty much. the defender series comes with a holder that hooks on a belt and also snaps on your phone with an included screen protector
