“Does this case protect the speaker ports? I want to avoid dust from collecting inside the tiny speaker holes”

The speaker ports are uncovered because they need to be, but the case forms around them for protection so they are back in there pretty far. I’ve owned OtterBox Defender cases ever since I got my first iPhone 6 many years ago and have never had an issue with dust.

There is no cover for the speaker port. If there was one I don't think you would be able to hear your phone ring or any media playing.

It does not protect it from dust. It protects them from impact but nothing covers them. If the phone can be under water then I’m of the assumption that there’s something built in to the phone that will also protect them from dust and liquid?
