A flap opens from the side of the case to allow the pencil to attach and charge. The flap stays open with the pencil there and doesn’t secure it so it isn’t for long term transportation.

There is a weird rubber door that you can try to pry open and sort of stuff the pencil in, but the rubber door stays dislodged open (by design) as long as you have the pencil on the charger.

Yes it will. There is a little flap that pops up. The only down side is that you have to leave the flap up while your pen charges
