You have to ask the Best Person about that. Otterbox, the case manufacture, give a warranty against damage provide you follow their guidelines for the warranty. 
If you are truly worried then purchase the Apple IPhone warranty, cuz I believe if Apple can not fix your IPhone, then they will give you a new IPhone same model, same memory but at Apple’s discretion maybe an upgraded IPhone.

You must buy the warranty for an Iphone with Apple Care to have any sort of warranty. Buying the phone case will only protect the phone. The case is quite strong, but don't forget to buy the glass screen protector as well. I would also like to add that Apple Care is worth it just for piece of mind. Who wants to pay 490 dollars to fix a broken phone?
