Is there a trick to getting my phone into this case? null

The outside is a rubber casing. It comes off of the inside plastic frame, & then the frame comes apart. Pop the frame apart , then put your phone in frame & snap the frame together, then put rubber casing back on over phone & case frame. It's not like a case that you just pop your phone in & out. This is first Otterbox I've had & I love it.

This case has 3 parts to it, first take off the outer rubber part and then you pull apart the hard plastic case that's underneath. You put the phone in and snap the 2 hard plastic pieces together and finally you put the protective rubber back on top.

Just don't rush it and it'll go in smoothly

Make sure the holes are lined up with the right openings (for both the inner plastic part and outer part). Then make sure you pinch around the outside of the case, wrapping it around the plastic inner shell. Hard to explain but here is a good video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-8j1gIxAfM

The best way I was able to get my phone into the case was to open the case through the top and slide it in.

No it's a three part case. Put the phone in the black plastic part first then put the black rubber part over the plastic part easy as pie.

No trick for me and the S21 ultra plus.
