“How can one case fit both the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 13 pro max when the height of the camera lenses on the iPhone 13 is greater?. What might be great for protection of the 12 lenses might be barely sufficient for protection oon the 13.”

I’ve just checked this out. The 12 pro max defender ABSOLUTELY fits the 13 pro max, without any issues! Buttons clicky, all good! As for the lenses, there is still clearance that is equivalent of the Casetify, Spigen Ultra Hybrid, and Mous case I tried made specifically for 13 pro max. Most new cases are slimmer profile, with an average of 1mm lens clearance. This 12 pro max defender easily maintains that clearance on the 13 pro max. Hope that helps!
