“I have used OtterBox cases for years and I love them. The ones I have used had a silicone cover on the outside of the hard plastic case. This kept the case from sliding all over. Does this case have that outer silicone/rubber part?”

Yes, it has the silicone/rubber! My phone is very secure.

Yes, there is a silicone case that you put over the hard plastic case. No sliding what so ever!
