I’ve had to take the Otterbox off in order to charge my phone using the charging station that I use. - the charging station stopped charging my phone so I’m using a cord now. In answer to your question, you most likely will have to take the case off the phone to charge it. For me, I don’t mind doing this because I can then clean my case and it helps me keep it clean. Even with out the pop socket you might still have to take the case off to charge the phone. So yes, the Pop will likely be in the way of charging.

I honestly have no issues with mine. I just have to remove the pop socket off my iPhone and it wirelessly charges.

No, it charges perfectly. This is reason this case was purchased. He received a charging station for Christmas that wouldn’t allow other case with add on pop to charge.
