Does this case protect the camera as well? null

There is a cut-out for the cameras so the pictures with turn out clear. Have you looked at this on-line? If you do, you will see the cut-out. It does provide some protection because when you put the phone down it keeps the camera lens off of the surface you are resting the camera on. Be careful with it and you will be OK.

The Otterbox case does not cover the camera lenses. Although, I have seen some cases that have a slide to cover the camera lenses, but they were not branded Otterbox.

The case offers little protection of the cameras. There is a slight raised area of the case right next to the cameras raised area. Which is about the same thickness as a United States dime. But the case is excellent with accidental drops and slips.
