I WOULD HAVE TO SAY WELL WORTH THE 40 TO PROTECT A 700 DOLLAR DEVICE. IM A CONSTRUCTION WORKER, AND HAVE DROPPED MINE A FEW TIMES SO FAR, AND THE CASE HAS DONE ITS JOB. NO SCRATCHES OR CRACKS, ETC.... YES, IT PROTECTS THE DEVICE WELL.
