Little bit of both on the case the backing and corners are more of a harder plastic type and around the screen and buttons its a more soft rubber.

Not sure of the actual material that it's made of BUT it definitely doesn't leave marks on the phone, at least not mine

It has soft rubber edges, but the back is a hard plastic.

It's hard rubber however I don't think it will leave marks on the phone.

Not sure. Would guess some kind silicone mixture. Very sturdy & pliable.

Case is hard plastic on the back and semi hard rubber on the side. Its really tight fitting but doesnt leave marks on the case
