I can't find anything in the assembly instructions regarding wattage equivalency. Just an explanation of the light color modes. 2700K, 4000K and 5000K. And that "the light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches the end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced." I use the brightest setting and the regular color mode so this lamp is great for reading since it sits about 1 foot above my head. I bought a second one because I liked the first one so much. The flex-neck adjusts so it reaches out to provide great light for reading in bed.
