Q: QuestionWhat kind of bulb does this take and how often does it need replacing? Or better yet how many hours are they expected to last before replacing?

• A:Answer It lasts 40,000 hours. I do not believe the LED bulb is replaceable. If you use it 12 hours a day, it will last for 3333 days or approximately 9 years. The flexible neck on the lamp makes if really easy to use at a desk or anywhere you want to direct light to a specific area. The multiple light settings make it very versatile.
