    • Answer It is pretty long, maybe 8 to 10 feet. It is just a regular plug going into outlet so any extension cord will work.

    • Answer Hello. Thank you for taking the time to ask this question. Yes, the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus has the Dual Power Mode feature. Automated Dual Power Mode is turned on by default when a device is wired and has a battery inserted as a power backup. If your device loses hardwired power, or the hardwired power connection is weak or unstable, your Ring device will start reducing energy consumption by automatically switching from Wired Mode to low-power Battery Mode. If there is no battery inserted into your plug-in device and it is experiencing weak or unstable power, it will automatically switch to Low Power Mode and default to using the battery settings as if it were inserted. This ensures that you will continue to have access to all your device’s features. If any additional information is needed regarding your question, please reach out to our community.     • Answer The Outdoor Cam Plus does not have a built in light. It does have a night vision capability with Ring sight. Basically it offers a Color Night Vision. It will not project a visible light to illuminate an area when motion is detected to be a deterrent, that would be the spotlight cameras.
