- Answer The faux coin door is just for looks. But, I'm sure you could use a Dremel tool to route out the coin slot, and put a bucket behind the door, so you could use it as a "piggy bank". Some owners have modified their faux coin doors to light up the coin return buttons for a more realistic look. You might be able to make a modification that connects the coin slot to the player buttons, so that when a coin passes through the slot, it trips the player button, and starts a game. But, that's a lot of work to do. Other people have cut out the red, plastic coin return button, and installed real buttons of that type, and connected those to the player buttons. All of that modding should be done, prior to completion of cabinet assembly, but the warranty will be voided. LOL

QuestionI’m trying to choose between this arcade and the PacMan Legacy Edition for a 5 year old. Can you tell me specific differences other than size color and price? Are the games included the same for both?

- Answer they have the same games ......this one is taller then other model ....also this has a light up marquee where the legacy doesnt..... save money and go with the smaller one for a 5 yo but the deluxe one does make for a great night light .... i honestly would at this time get the smaller unit then when he gets older and taller get the deluxe

- Answer I don't know what the joystick's part number is. However, that may be found inside the joystick assembly. Most likely, you will need to see if Arcade1up sells that part for this cabinet. However, some users will replace the stock joystick, and buttons for ones that are of a higher quality. Be advised, the Pac-Man Deluxe, and Class of 81 Deluxe cabinets have their control deck, and monitor all built onto one unified bezel, and the panel just below the bezel/control panel blocks access to the plastic cover which protects the controllers, and encoder. This means the cabinet has to be partially disassembled, and then entire bezel has to be removed, in order to access the controls. So, if you don't already have this cabinet, and you intend to mod it with better controls, have the new controls on hand, and do the modification prior to completing the monitor/control panel installation step. For part replacement from Arcade1up, check their website's knowledge base.

- Answer It's not possible to add new games to this cabinet. You'd have to modify the cabinet with a Raspbery Pi, or PC, running emulation software. Modding is not easy, as you'd have to install a new encoder to work with the PC or Pi. The is a Partycade of Defender 40th, which has Gorf on it. I think there is another Arcade1up cabinet out there, which has it, too.
