- Answer No. You need this to be able to play your new stereo unit. It does have steering wheel control capabilities.

QuestionI am using this wire harness for my new soundstream VR-345B receiver. On the instruction manual for the wire harness there are 9 settings you have to rotate for you specific cd/dcd player SWC functions. But they do not have sound stream listed.

- Answer Just installed that Soundstream in an 04 Sierra things aren't working right and the screen is blank white screen so course it's Sunday going to call around in the morning see if it's compatible and no there is no Soundstream on the radio select switch of course...

QuestionI have a 2003 Buick Lesabre Custom and wanted to know if this would work with it, if not what part number stereo wire harness do I need for it to work? I don't have onstar but I think the car has the amp. It does have the steering wheel controls though

- Answer does this interface work with a 2001 grandprix. The one I purchased. Swch-1 doesn't seem to work. Wondering what to do with little factory plug attached to harness. Installing a Kenwood kc-565u with a 4000-1 adapter that adapter doesn't include the little plug on exciting factory harness for factory radio/ cd player. Also do you have to hard wire and cut off factory wire plug?
