“Can I run this long enough to cook a hard winter squash - 15-20 min? I bought another microwave last year that cannot even handle 8 or 9 minutes. Has anyone tested this at longer cooking times?”

• This microwave's High power level restricts you to a limit of 30 minutes. However, if you use a different power level setting you can use the microwave up to 99 minutes.

• Oh yes, no problem. But check you squash, this oven cooks faster than my last one.

• It can, but you have to synchronize time of cooking and heat/power level.

• Yes, I recently cooked my pumpkin in prep for my pumpkin pies. Remember to follow installation instructions, i.e. make sure you don't have too many appliances on the circuit.
