• A:Answer okay, I went ahead and bought it. I can tell you that it is NOT stainless steel, it is metal with what appears to be some sort of dark gray epoxy type coating. It seems durable enough, (but it is dark and sucks up much of the dim light that lights up the interior) and it is METAL, not that horrible plastic-coated stuff in some micros.

Q: QuestionHow do I remove the protection tape from Door Release Button? I've been trying for over an hour..I won't just peel off!

• A:Answer You must persist in trying to lift the tape at one of the corners. It took multiple attempts to lift a corner with a fingernail, before finally succeeding. Once a corner is lifted from the release button, carefully peel off the entire protective film.

• A:Answer I don't believe it has the inverter technology, i might be wrong. The new thing about this microwave is the cook technology - automatically dials back on the cooking time based on the steam generated by the food that is being cooked - helps prevent splatter in the microwave due to overcooking.

• A:Answer It does have a push close with a decided click noise, but doesn't need to be slammed. I've never used a microwave from various places over the years, that had a truly quiet door closure. It may actually be a safety feature to make the user sure the door is shut.
